Haulover Beach is a mile-and-one-half (2400 m) long beach in Haulover Park a Miami-Dade County Regional Park located between midway between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, between the cities of Sunny Isles Beach and Bal Harbour.
Parking is at the Haulover State Park and it costs $5.00. It opens from about 7:00 am till dusk. On weekdays, the beach obviously has less people than on weekends and you can arrive at any time of the day and still be assured of a parking spot. But on weekends, you better get there by 11 a.m. or you may have to walk a ways from another lot. You walk through a tunnel under the road to reach the beach. The walk from the parking lot is short, and there are lifeguards, rest rooms, trash cans, food concessions, and signs informing visitors of nude use. You'll even find nude volleyball here. The beach is very popular, with crowds often numbering in the thousands.

Haulover Beach is one of the most beautiful and frequently-used clothing-optional beaches in the United States, let alone Florida. Unlike the overwhelming majority of nude beaches in North America, Haulover is not hidden away in some remote corner. You have good view of nearby highrise buildings from the beach. The nude area is populated mostly by men, and the far northern section of the beach is almost exclusively gay.
The beach proudly declares its nude beach status and perimeters with signs. Beautiful, laidback and accepting of everyone, naturists of all genders, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age and physical build visit this beach - don't be surprised to see more than a thousand sunbathers from all over the world getting all-over tans along the half mile stretch of pure white sand.
Maintained by the County, nude bathing is both legal and safe here, so naturists can enjoy the sun without fear of persecution or gawkers. It is the only legal haven for nudists in Miami.
It’s closeness to Ft Lauderdale makes it even more appealing. Fort Lauderdale is considered America's gay vacation capital, offering more than 100 gay-owned and same-sex friendly hotels, bars, clubs and restaurants. Fort Lauderdale is less intimidating than Miami and draws a more mature and easygoing gay crowd.

No Limit Nudism - Ralf´s FKK Seite
The movement for really free body culture (FKK), for nudism without walls and fences.
This is a German site about a group of people who like to be naked outdoors and indoors. The site is in German but pretty much easy to navigate and there is also a large photo gallery where you can see their naked adventures, from naked bike rides, to naked hikes, naked bowling, naked dancing and partying,
The owner of the web site, Ralf, says:
I am rejecting this inhuman attitude toward nakedness. No religious, political or moral argument can clearly explain why a look at a naked human body can harm anyone and why people should be protected from viewing naked human bodies.
Anyone who practice nudism can easily understand what it means to be able to move around naked. After all, nobody ever asks why do we shower naked? It is a quite human need to feel light and air in free nature on naked skin.

Nakedworkshops.com
Nakedworkshops is about nudity. On this blog you can find tons of photos and videos of naked men in all settings, from strictly naturist to naughty. So be warned, not your typicall innocent naturist web site. But hey, we are all men of flesh and blood.

But you can also find information on different naked workshops (hence the name), from naked yoga and bear naked fitness. Naked Workshops' instructors are conducted by guys who have been working in their industries and who can share their knowledge with a group. On top of that, they're happy to get naked to do it!

Gran Canaria : Gay Nude Vacation Resort Island
The Canary Islands are an African archipelago which are part of Spain and consist of seven islands of volcanic origin in the Atlantic Ocean. They are located off the north-western coast of mainland Africa (Morocco and the Western Sahara).
Gran Canaria Island is the third largest island of the Canary Islands located about 70 miles off the Moroccan Coast.
Gran Canaria is known by its notorious beaches. The notorious place to go is the sand dunes and beach of Maspalomas.
Maspalomas / Playa del Ingles is located on the southern tip of the Gran Canaria island. 43 miles south of Las Palmas and about 18 miles south of the De Gran Canaria International Airport. Playa del Ingles has a pleasant sunny climate all year round and some of the finest sandy beaches on the islands.
Las Palmas, the largest city on the northern part of the island, is a popular resort for straight tourists, but has its own gay scene and certainly worth a visit. Playa del Ingles is the gay holiday playground of the Canary Islands attracting many Europeans gays all year round. Many of the resorts in Playa del Ingles are exclusively all male, and so are most of the gay bars.
The main beach at Playa del Ingles (above) is a bit too touristy but beyond this, stretching towards Maspalomas, you'll find a glorious coastline that never seems to end.
On to the beach itself which seems to be split into three areas. Nearest to the lighthouse is where you'll find the families. A ten minute stroll further along the beach brings you to the nudist area (birthday suites are not compulsory) so this is where everyone goes (by beach bar number 7). Past there is a third area, again popular with nudists but also with more families as you're reaching the end of the beach and into Playa del Ingles. So, stick to the bit in the middle next to beach bar number 7.
The central part of this beach is dedicated to naturist use, but in reality nudists use all of the beach and dunes, apart from the areas at either end, which are close to the towns.

The main gay nude beach can be found between Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles. The gay beach is easy recognisable at the rainbow flag at the little kiosk near the water. Here is where the boys (and slightly older gentlemen) lay down in the sun, hand around at the bar or swim in the ocean. This is a great place to sunbathe and people-watch. You can do it cheaply by just laying out your towel on the sand (just watch out for the tide) or pay to hire a sunbed (€5 for a hamaca and a sombrilla - €2.50 if you just want to soak up the sun).

If you go swimming, follow the instructions of the lifeguards who patrol the beach and obey the warning flags. Under some conditions, there are strong currents, and you need to take care: overall though, it's a nice place for a swim. Bear in mind that the sun is strong here, and you need to use appropriate sun protection.

The dunes themselves, behind the beach, is maybe even a main attraction and not a place to be shy. There is an area to the south (see the map below) which are covered in bushes. It's in and around these bushes that gay sun seekers tend to favour setting up camp for the day. At around four o'clock, many people leave the beach for a short and refreshing walk trough the dunes, to explore the beauty and magnitude of gay nature. This is really to place to get to know your fellow tourist a little bit closer...
(Thanks MrBee for the photo)
How to get there?
To get there take a taxi to Plaza del Faro then walk east until you come to 'Spot No. 7'
The gay beach can be reached by a 10 minute walk from the Maspalomas lighthouse or via a 20 minute fun walk via the dunes from the Riu Palace Maspalomas hotel in Playa del Ingles.
(MrBee enjoying himself on the sun terrace, thanks for the photo)
And if you worry about accommodation, you don't have to. Gran Canaria offers wide range of accommodation available, including ever popular gay exclusive accommodation (clothing optional sun terraces and pools included), both in the centre of Playa del Ingles and the quieter surrounding tourist suburbs.
